After 17 years practising as a solicitor, primarily in commercial, insurance and personal injuries litigation, Guy commenced practice at the bar in 2008, practising in the areas of:

Guy practises in both Qld and NSW (with chambers in Brisbane and Lismore), appearing in trials, appeals, conferences and mediations.

Guy has appeared in the Qld Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Qld, the District Courts of Qld and NSW, the Qld Magistrates' Court, the Qld Industrial Magistrates' Court, the Qld Industrial Court, the Qld Industrial Relations Commission and the Federal Magistrates' Court (now the Federal Circuit Court).
